Submissions
Submissions to the Archive are currently open.
How to Submit
- Stories must be submitted either .txt, or .rtf format.
- You can submit them to the Editors in .doc format, but then the Editors will be grumpy. You don't want them grumpy.
- If you happen to have the story already in HTML format (that is, HTML format not generated by Pages (Mac) or Microsoft Word (Windows) as some versions do bad things to HTML, very bad things), then the Editors will do a dance of joy.
- Once you've got your story in one of those formats, attach the story in an email to pcfanfictionarchive@gmail.com. Don't send the email yet! In the body of the email, you must include:
- Your Name (meaning the name you use as a fanfic author, not, like, your actual name.
- Contact Email (let us know if you don't want this with your story)
- Website (also optional, so if you don't provide one we don't put it with your story, obviously)
- Title of Story
- Category of your Story (either Epic, Novel Length, Story, or Vignette)
- Rating (NC-17, R, PG-13, PG, G)
- A Short Summary (you know, the one or two line blurb)
- Another thing to include: if your story is a long one (Epic or Novel Length) let us know how many chapters or parts it contains. By default, the really really long stories will have a teaser first chapter and then a link to the pdf of the full story on the story's page. And no worries, the Editors will create the pdf for you. They aren't that mean... unless you've sent your ginormous epic in .doc format. Then the wrath of a thousand gnomes will descend upon you.
- Once you've entered that information in the body of the email (and attached the file in case you forgot), feel free to click send.
That's it. If there are any problems with your submission(s), you'll be contacted by an Editor.
Lovingly Signed,
— The Editors
